As much as she enjoys swimming and "catching a wave", Kara can be found running the shoreline, meeting and greeting all who visit her beach! For those who have the energy to accompany her on her travels, Kara leads the way along the sand covered paths with an enthusiastic wag of her tail..

Kara has always been a staunch competitor, but in her senior status, can no longer outrun or outswim those who race to retrieve the toy or float, but she does manage to coax them into releasing their catch so that she can proudly return the item to it's owner! That, my friends, is the Kara charm at work!

Kara requires her own space on the sofa, but loves the nighttime cuddle. Kara has been patiently watching the family granddaughter grow up and is finally receiving the gentleness and adoration she has given to Melanie throughout the last seven years.

But Kara is now sharing this wonderful life with a youngster and she is making time to be teacher and guide to her new little companion. Kara has many years of experiences to impart upon sweet Luna.

The future will be a wonderful journey for the both of them. Knowledge. Experience. The soul of an explorer. This is Kara. And Luna is in truly remarkable company.
