What a wonderful year 2009 has turned out to be for all of our Malagold dogs and their families!

There was a new UKC Champion crowned. Another Best in Show win achieved. Additional Agility titles earned. Rally trophies brought home. Multiple Sweepstakes winners brought home rosettes, including the veterans!

There were two Judges Awards of Merit rosettes earned in the Breed competition at the GRCA National, a Master Hunter title achieved and multiple Tracking titles added.

And there were new puppies to play with and get ready for the show ring.

it was a very grand year for the Malagold Family. And more to come in 2010....

It was a fun weekend trip to Wisconsin and Rocky (UKC GRCH/AKC CH. Malagold's On The Rocks) had a turn back in the ring. With Geri guiding him, he earned Best of Breed honors on the day!

Nice to see Rocky and Geri back in the ring! Congratulations on a nice win!

It is what we all look forward to every year, and this year was no exception! It was a long drive for Geri and Connie, and the Malagold crew brought an exceptionally wonderful showing to the National this year bringing home some lovely wins!

Bailey (Malagold Bailye's Irish Creme) - second place in the Puppy Sweepstakes 15-18 Month Bitch class. A very nice placement out of an entry of thirteen!

Levi (CH. Malagold Augusta's Genuine Article CD, MH, WC ) - wins the Hunting Retriever Dog Class! How exciting for Kathryn and Levi to win this class at the National Specialty! This takes Levi back into the ring for the Best of Breed competition.

So on to the Best of Breed competition which includes
- Flag Jr (UKC GRCH and CAN/AM CH Malagold's Wave To The Flag)
- Stoney (UKC and AKC CH. Malagold's Stone Sour RX, OA, AXJ)
- and of course, Levi.

All three of the Malagold boys make it to the final cut out of a grand total of approximately 114 dogs and bitches, with Levi and Stoney each earning a Judges Award of Merit. What an honor having two JAMs from the GRCA National this year!

Tracking Club of Vermont

It was a beautiful day in Danby, Vermont, with the dramatic backdrop of Mt. Tabor framing the valley.

Malagold's Winter Storm Fairy begins her tracking test, leading the way! Winnie, and her owner, Kathy Goodman, run the 450 yard test track in five minutes without hesitation

Winnie completes a perfect run, earning her Tracking Dog title, and celebrate the end of her track with an exuberant roll in the grasses!!

Winnie, TD, is ready for the next adventure!

What a great accomplishment for Winnie and Kathy!
