Golden Retriever Club of Illinois Specialty Show II Grayslake, IL

The Golden crew had a little bit of a break in the day before Specialty Show II started up in the afternoon. All the kids were well rested and up for going after those ribbons and rosettes again - and that they did!

Rosie (Malagold's Tequila Rose) was first in her 12-18 Month Bitch Class, while Summer (Malagold's Summer Rain) took the second place ribbon behind Rosie. Next, Smoochie (Malagold's Sealed With A Kiss) won the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch Class. But it was Rosie who went on to go Winners Bitch from the Winners class and take the major for the afternoon, with Summer coming in again with the Reserve Winners Bitch rosette!!

And to top it off, Flirt (CH. Malagold Southern Belle of WingStar) took the high honors of Best of Opposite Sex, with Rosie taking the Best of Winners rosette!

Golden Retriever Club of Illinois Specialty Show I Grayslake, IL

Judge: Mrs. Nancy Talbot Sweepstakes Judge: Mr. Jeff Van Engelenhoven

It was a very early start to the day, but the dogs were bright eyed and ready to get intoo the show ring!

Sweepstakes started it off and Rosie (Malagold's Tequila Rose) was first in her 12-15 Month Bitch Sweepstakes Class, while Summer (Malagold's Summer Rain) earned the second place ribbon in the same class. .But Rosie went on to earn the Best In Sweepstakes honors for the Malagold youngsters!

Nilla (Malagold's Vanilla Waffer, CGC, TDI) won her sweepstakes class as she competed in the 10-12 Year Old Veteran Sweepstakes! Huge round of applause for the Seniors!!

The the regular classes for the boys started and Tucker (Malagold Tucker's Follow'n The Flag CD, RE, AX, AOJ, NF) brought smiles all around by winning the Open Dog Class and going on to take Winners Dog for the big five point major!! And then to top it all, he goes on to win Owner-Handler Best of Breed honors! What a wonderful win for Tucker and his owner, Deborah Puza!

Next it was the girl's tuen, and Summer (Malagold's Summer Rain) takes first place in her 12-18 Month Bitch class, going on to take the Reserve Winners Bitch rosette for the morning!

Fox River Valley Kennel Club Woodstock, IL

It was a bright and sunny day, but there was a wonderfully cool breeze, making for a great day at the dog show in Woodstock, Illinois!

Geri showed Smoochie (Malagold's Sealed With A Kiss) and wins the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class, going on to take Winners Bitch for a point, and Connie takes Ray (CH. Malagold Tanqueray) to a Best of Breed win, which gives him another point towards that Grand Championship title!

Both Malagold kids don't rest on the class wins, as Ray goes on to take a Sporting Group 4 placement!

But Geri and Smooch, having earned Best Bred By Golden Retriever, competes in the Bred By Sporting Grooup taking first place in that Group, and continues on to win Best Bred By Exhibitir in Show!!

What a fantastic way to end the long weekend of shows, as the Malagold kids bring home the big wins of the day!

Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) stayed in the ribbons as he won the Bred By Exhibitor class and continued on to earn the rosettes for Winners Dog and Best of Winners for another point!

But the day belongs to Flirt (Malagold Southern Belle of WingStar) who wins the Open Bitch class and goes on to take Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for the one point that completed her Championship title!

A spectacular end to a wonderful weekend for the entire Malagold Crew!

After a day of rest, it was Schemer who made the day his own!

Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) had the ribbons all to himself as he won the Bred By Exhibitor class and went on to bring home the rosettes for Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex for 2 more points towards that Championship title!

Another fun day of shows in Kalamazoo, Michigan!

But it is Schemer's (Malagold Grand Scheme) day and he does it big time by going Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed for 2 points from the 12-15 Month Dog Class!

Baby Rosie (Malagold's Tequila Rose) makes her presence known as well by winning her Bred By Exhibitor Class and going Reserve Winners Bitch.

A wonderful day at the Golden Retriever Specialty in Indiana. Baby Rosie (Malagold's Tequila Rose) starts things off by winning her 9-12 Month Puppy Sweepstakes class and going on to win the rosette for Best in Puppy Sweepstakes!

After a little break, Flirt (Malagold Southern Belle of WingStar) wins the Open Bitch class and goes on to take Winners Bitch for a 5 point major win! Pystol (CH. Malagold's She's A Wild OneRN, NA, NAJ), who had previously finished her Championship title, entered the Best oof Breed ring and walked out with the Rosette for Best of Opposite Sex!

Day two at the Northern Flyway Specialty! Another super day for Team Malagold!

The star of the day was Flirt (Malagold Southern Belle of WingStar), who took it all the way to Best of Breed from the classes!

Pystol (CH. Malagold's She's A Wild One RN, NA, NAJ) competed for the first time in the Breed class and won Select Bitch for her first Grand Champion points!

Team Malagold made the trip to Wisconsin for the Northern Flyway Golden Retriever Club Specialty Show and "show" they did!

In the Puppy Sweepstakes competition, Rosie (Malagold's Tequila Rose) won the 9-12 Puppy Bitch class and went on to take the Best in Sweepstakes win and rosette! What a great showing for the baby!

Once again, Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) is Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed! Rose (Malagold's Tequila Rose) wins her second Puppy class and Smoochie (Malagold's Sealed With A Kiss) wins the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class, and little baby Rose earns her second point!

The Malagold Gang spent Easter Weekend in Indiana, and Schemer and Geri were the big winners for the weekend!

On Saturday, Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) goes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed, with Geri guiding the way from the Bred By Exhibitor Dog class! Rose (Malagold's Tequila Rose) wins the Puppy class and Smoochie (Malagold's Sealed With A Kiss) wins the Bred By Exhibitor Bitch class, but it is little baby Rose that earns the point!

Schemer and Geri go on to earn a Group 4 rosette in the Sporting Group on Saturday!

Winter weather finally breaks and the dog show season can start anew! Took a drive to Auburn, Indiana, for the Logansport KC show on Sunday, March 09, 2014, and had a great day!

Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) takes Reserve Winners Dog, while the girls strut their stuff, with Summer (Malagold's Summer Rain) winning her Puppy 9-12 Month class, and Smoochie (Malagold's Sealed With A Kiss) earns the Winners Bitch honors after winning the American Bred class! Ray (CH. Malagold Tanqueray) takes the Best of Breed honors and goes on to earn a Sporting Group 3 rosette!!

Way to go, Schemer (Malagold Grand Scheme) who for the third day in a row, takes the Winners Dog ribbon, along with going Best of Winners today!!! Pystol (Malagold's She's A Wild One) continues her winning streak with the Winners Bitch ribbon and another Best of Opposite Sex win.
